I have never owned a Playstation 3, my console ‘career’ is quite a long one full of the typical hits, however I moved over to PC after siding with the 360 for some time. As such until last year I’d never had an opportunity to play any exclusives such as Journey, Uncharted or The Last of Us. Then Playstation Now came out and I also moved in with my Partner and we bought a PS4 so why not dive into some of the most hyped games? Continue reading “My Issue w/Journey”
If you’ve ever read the first 50-pages of any game design book you’ve probably read several definitions of what a game is and what they encompass. Howdy! I know I’ve been gone for just short of two weeks so I figure I’d explain myself and my actions. Since we last left off I had just wrapped up work on the snake base game, I hadn’t done any work on the extra parts of the game, sadly this is still true. However I still anticipate on getting the game done by the 1st of next month. Continue reading “Good Things Come to Those Who Wait”
Despite the poor pun leading this article, this post will have very little content in the way of a comical stylings representing that of either Groucho Marx or any form of joke-telling couch you may have come across. This article is all about the word ‘Couch’ and how it’s played a role in my Design Partner (Dave) and I’s exercise for coming up with game ideas. Continue reading “Couch-o Marx”
